My sister is about to get engaged and I'm trying to find her an example of a ring which I've seen on pricescope many many times but now I can't seem to find it.

It's a really simple setting of a RB solitaire, four prongs with a thin diamond band (not sure or fussed on the nature of the diamond band setting - i.e. channel setting etc ..) and the diamonds go 3/4 down the band. I have seen a setting with a really thin band and the centre diamond really pops.

Can you help me locate the posts with this setting so I can show her ? alternatively is there any jewellers who make this setting ?

Thank you so much

Maggie

Look on BGD, WF and JA and see if anything rings a bell. If not post the closest setting you can find. :-)

Keep in mind that the "pop" factor in the PS photos may also be a function of the huge diamonds that seem to show up on SMTB threads. With a 3+ carat rock, even a 3mm band will seem dainty....

From my personal scouting trips, I think Mark Patterson makes the thinnest bands -- his are about 1.5mm thick. Check his website to find a B&M store near you to check them out.

Good luck!
