Please help me find thread on Kelpie's ring

Does anyone know if there is a thread on this ring? What is the center stone?

Here's a top view. Her image file is named garn1.jpg, so I'm assuming its a mint garnet.

It's a mint garnet, I believe cut by Gene but not sure. The setting was done by Hunt Country Jewelers.

It's a mint garnet from Gene in a rose gold setting from Hunt Country. I had the pleasure of meeting it face to face in August. I shall point her in the direction of this thread!

When I originally cropped the pic I went back through old threads to find carat weights. You're looking at 8.04ctw of green garnet.

You're welcome. In future, I find the following very helpful when searching something on this forum. I go to google, and put in the search terms I want, and the word, "Pricescope." Therefore, I searched your initial terms ,"hunt county ring kelpie pricescope" and came up with search images that showed the ring you were interested in. After it was confirmed to be a mint garnet, then you could add "mint garnet" to the search terms, and in this case I did an image search, instead of a web search (it depends what you're looking for, an article or an actual piece of jewelry).

For some reason, I cannot get precise database results with Pricescope's actual search mechanism. It's only useful to find a person's posts or topics. I should report that to the mods one of these days.
