All I have been looking for earrings for our 10th anniversary. I have found two very different options

1. David S diamonds in NYC: very much feels like something Pricescope users would like. He gets his own diamonds cut. Uses Lightscope, ASET, Gemex etc to show to you the optical qualities of a diamond

2. A diamond wholesaler for who is basically charging me 5% markup over wholesale prices

Color I/ Clarity V2.

David has given me a lot more info on the diamonds. Here is a link with all of the info on the pair :

For the other pair I just have GIA certificates :

I do not want to spend Whiteflash or HPD/ CBI money.

The difference between these two options is $4k/10%.

I would really appreciate any inputs.

I recommend ID Jewelry or USA Certed Diamonds. Both are trusted vendors on this forum and can get you the best bang for your buck within your budget.

Both wholesaler diamonds are 60/60. Probably lots of white light return. Not much fire. Great if that's what you want.

David S. the 2.55 is a bit more fiery sparkle. Other other closer to 60/60.

Seems like you lean toward more white light return, than fire, which is fine if you that's what you want.

You could do more sparkly and fiery, but do you care?

It’s not that I was seeking out 60/60. It so happens those are the two options that I found. It has been much harder to find a matched pair for 2.5 carat each vs 2 carat each.
1. I have met Yekutiel and he is still working on finding a matched pair. He has found a pair of 2 carats each but not yet 2.5 each.

2. Other option is Whiteflash - but ACA pair will cost $54k and I don’t want to spend that much more. HPD is the same price - however they also can’t get it to me on time because they need to do a custom cut
