Please help me with my round halo 1.5 carat

Hi everyone,

I attached some pictures of something I would like and the CAD images that my jeweler sent me. Will it turn out like I imagined? Does anyone have a round halo ring where the shank and halo are different sizes that they could share? I would appreciate any suggestions!

I asked for a 1.8mm band (I like them really thin but am worried of it breaking if it is any thinner). I asked for my halo to be half pointers, so about 1mm, and slightly angled outwards. Will it look weird or unproportionate? Should I ask for a slightly thicker halo, maybe 1.2mm? I'd like the shank and halo to be thin because I don't want to take any attention away from the diamond. I'm not too worried about finger coverage, I think it should be decent. My ring size is a 5.5.



I would appreciate any help, suggestions, experiences, or pictures of your round halos around the same size just so I could see! Thanks in advance!

Don't go too think on bands - it only brings tears.
Small diamonds cost more to set than the price of the diamonds.
1mm is just silly. go to at least 1.2mm - but there is a number constraint - the number od stones must be divisable by 4 if you are having 4 prongs so they can sit between 2 diamonds.
So you need 20 or 16 stones - I would opt for 16. The diameter is then best chosen by the CAD operator (and in my business we put the diamond much closer togher like the top images you copied in.
