Please feel free to make offers!!! Open to trades/ partial trades for smaller lab grown diamond jewelry.

Cleaning out some of the larger pieces in my jewelry box. They’re too big for my lifestyle to be worn daily and have been sitting in the safe. I am downsizing to smaller diamonds. I would love for these rings to be worn daily and enjoyed!!!

Good luck with your sales @Applebutter.

As a gentle reminder to all please do not pay with PayPal F&F to anyone you do not know well as then you have no recourse should something go awry. Instead if the seller insists you can offer to pay the PayPal fees for goods and services which i believe is just under 3%. Just a kind reminder. If you do not know the seller do not pay with F&F but use PayPal goods and services.

I am happy to accept PayPal for goods and services if the buyer pays the fees. These are all listed for sale on eBay if the buyer would like additional protection through eBay. The rings are listed at higher prices to account for the eBay and PayPal fees. I have a 100% feedback rating on eBay and have sold multiple pieces of jewelry on Loupe Troop and Diamond Bistro. I know I don’t post much but have been a member for a couple of years. I am a nurse practitioner and my husband owns a successful business with an active Facebook page (yes, I have had previous purchasers “look me/him/us up” prior to buying from me). I am always happy to send additional pictures, video’s, and answer any questions. Again, I am open to offers!

Bump.

Good luck with the sale.

With respect to the OP, much as I appreciate you have been a member on this board for a couple of years and did not post much by your own admission, you posted 4 threads, 3 of which were for items for sale, and one for WTB.

If I were to part with that kind of money, I personally would not use PP F&F for the reasons mentioned by @missy unless I know the seller very well. It is a timely reminder.

DK :))

Thank you for commenting DK, I have commented on your posts in the past- specifically the 10mm OEC thread.
As I mentioned above, I am happy to accept PP G&S or go through eBay if the buyer prefers. Anyone can Google/Facebook me, my husband, or our business. I honestly don’t know if I still appear on my employers website since I changed departments from family practice (I am no longer a PCP accepting patients) to pre-admission testing.
I was able to post more because I was at home recovering from a cervical spine fusion surgery for 6 weeks. I am now back to work part time so will have less time to post although I do try to read posts as I can.
Perhaps instead of adding these “gentle reminders” to an individual’s posts, it would be more tactful to create a separate thread with the reminder. I feel personally attacked by the actively participating members of the forum and it does not encourage my engagement in the other threads.

@Applebutter I’m sorry you feel attacked. I know too many people who paid with PayPal f&f and lost their money and never received anything. That is why I posted. IMO you shouldn’t ask for PayPal f&f as it goes against the rules of PayPal on top of the other reason. I did not post to attack you but to protect others and I thought my post was appropriate. I wish you a full recovery from your surgery and glad you are back at work.

Since David Klass has worked on all three of the rings I have listed, and other projects of mine, anyone who is interested could also reach out to him with questions and to verify that they are as described. He can also verify that I am a real person, respond fairly quickly to emails, and have paid all of my invoices immediately. He sized the asscher diamond ring for me, his involvement with the other two is in their descriptions.

Thank you Missy. So far my recovery is going well. I don’t have much range of motion in my neck yet, I was just able to get out the cervical collar three days ago after wearing it 24/7 for 6 weeks.

I have updated my Loupe Troop listings to reflect I am happy to accept PP G&S or go through eBay.

Hi Applebutter,
I saw your listing on LT for a 2.5 round, K VVS2. Would it be possible to see a video of that? Thank you.

Videos are sent! :) Let me know if they don’t come through.

#2 and #3 are sold.

I decided I am going to keep #1. It’s just too beautiful to part with!

Wouldn't this leave the the seller with zero protection (Goods and Services)? Isn't this a scam that people run on Craiglist? The buyer pays the seller using Paypal or whatever. A few days/weeks/months later, the crooked buyer disputes the charge, the entire amount is pulled from the seller's Paypal and refunded back to the buyer, the buyer keeps the product they scammed you for for free. Now the seller has lost the money and the item.

I thought with F&F, the buyer cannot dispute it, so it prevents the seller from getting scammed.

A chargeback doesn't automatically and necessarily result in the money being pulled from the seller's account. The seller actually has the opportunity to respond and dispute the grounds of the chargeback. And if the seller has done their homework, PP will decide in their favour.

To give an example, just recently I purchased a ring from another PSer using PP G&S where I covered the additional cost of PP's fees. Technically I'm still in the period where I can do a chargeback. However, if I do that, nothing will happen. Because there's extensive email correspondence where we discuss the subject of the purchase, it's described in detail in the invoice, there's a tracking number for the package, I've been sent a copy of the shipping label AND I signed for the package when I received it. The seller has access to all that, all she has to do in such a situation is provide this evidence and the dispute will be settled in her favour.

F&F, on the other hand, leaves the buyer with actually zero protection. If you were to buy something and pay F&F, the seller can then proceed to do nothing and send you nothing. You have no recourse. You have no way of disputing it and getting your money back because whatever happened, be it the seller scammed you altogether or there was just a problem, like the package was lost in transit, it doesn't matter and isn't taken into account. Technically you always have the option to go to court, but really, how much of an option is that, considering the associated costs.

No, PayPal goods and services protects all parties.

What they print and the actual ‘boots on the ground‘ application of those printed policies varies pretty widely. As a buyer, getting all your money back fromPayPal isn’t easy. And this is exactly the scam banks see run, the shady buyer scam.

Exactly.

Fingers crossed, I've never had issues with selling on PS / LT because I think people here, for the most part, and genuinely interested in purchasing the items and are jewelry enthusiasts in some form or another and there is a "community" here. Your average scammer probably does not know that PS/LT even exists. I've only been a seller on here, and have done both G&S and F&F and have met some very lovely and genuine buyers.

I should say, my prior comment was due to bad experiences on eBay, where there are plenty of folks who are on there simply to scam sellers. Numerous horror stories of sellers being scammed, bad actors buying things, returning something else entirely (Ex: buy an expensive collector's item train set, take the only piece they're missing, return the rest of the train set, now seller has an incomplete set but buyer has officially "returned" and got their money back). PP and eBay will almost never rule on the side of the seller, no matter how detailed the documentation, how meticulous the records, how scammy the buyer was, etc. Of course, there's no way to do F&F on eBay/PP. I stopped selling expensive items on there, mainly only use it to sell clothes.
