It's been ages since I have posted. I have gone through a LOT of life changes and want to purchase a really great diamond solitaire for my right hand as a celebration for what I have achieved.

Probably middle finger right hand so there is not mistaking it for an engagement ring.

Please show me examples of non-engagement looking solitaires. I am thinking either round or asscher/square emerald cut.

Idk if this is considered a solitaire because of the bigger bezel but this is my gold diamond ring and I don’t think it screams “engaged”. I also wear it on my middle finger.

That's beautiful! Thanks for posting!

This is beautiful and I love the carved ring. Your skin tone/undertone goes really well with gold!

Hard not to look like an engagement ring when anything goes as an engagement ring these days! Don’t let that stop you, though.

I had DK make this for me and worn on the right hand I don't think it's too much like an ER. But any solitaire can be taken for one. I wouldn't worry about that. Wear what you want.

I also have this EC. The setting is pretty modern though. Not sure what kind of vibe you are looking for.

This is my "swirly" ring. It's a Stuller setting.

Here's another, also a Stuller setting.

My main goal when choosing the design for this ring was precisely for it not to look like an engagement ring:

And this design is a bit more substantial, so no way of mistaking it, even if you were to remove the pave band passing above the stone:C3BCE30F-BD03-4B5D-88F8-DFEF4DF412FF.jpeg

Very interesting.

@stracci2000 - I LOVE your swirl ring! Can you pls tell me what size the diamond in it is? What great presence!

Thanks @mrs-b! It's a special favorite of mine.
The diamond is 1.10 ct and 6.3mm. Size 5 finger.

Aw thanks @Ally T!

@Mrs_Strizzle, it is indeed a DK creation. The center diamond isn’t vetted but it was sold to me as a champagne old mine cut. The yellow gold bezel really amps up the color :)
