Please show me your favorite setting for ovals

I looking for ideas to reset my grandmother's oval diamond. It's approximately 1 carat (no papers- she bought the diamond in the 70s). I've got some ideas on settings I like (below), but I would love to see other PS favorites. I am totally open to style.

I've always loved nic12h's ring. I think her thread got deleted but I love the two tone and plain gold shank, I feel like you could make it an airline halo , maybe more dolled up with metal work or alternating diamond sizes in the halo, but anyways, you get the idea

Thank you all for responding! I hadn't thought of putting it in a halo, but now I'm leaning that direction with a plain shank. So many stunning options. It seems like ERD is the favored vendor for halos- my budget is to be <$5k.
