We''re engaged! I know I have not been posting long, but I have been a LIW for a long time in spirit and this board has both been part and my saving grace from insanity for the past month!

You can read about all my anticipitory excitement on my other thread...

but we went for a hike today and I wasn''t suspecting anything because we always do hike and I didn''t see that ring box bulging from his pants. We did a little climbing and made our way to actually the end of this place called "bridal veil falls" which the end is very remote! We sat for awhile...he put his arm around me, we had a kiss and talked...then he pulled out the ring out of his pants pocket, picked the lint off of it, got down one one knee and said "Katie, will you Marry Me?" YES!

Simple, yet surprising, and very special!

Thanks for your support guys! Ironically my camera batteries died so they are charging and I can maybe get a picture of my ring...and a pic I took of us at the park. I can''t wait to buy flowers tomorrow to do the flower shots!

He still has my papers (he's home, I'm at my house) but from what I remember it is 0.71 ct E Princess SI1, white gold cathedral setting. It is gorgeous!
