Please Vet These two Rounds for Earrings

Do getting my wife a set of low profile daily wearers. She has a 1.4 CT ER IN H and doesn't mind the warmer colour, Esp for earrings. I'd actually prefer some fluor in them, but I thought these two, specifically the July report date are great value for money.

I don't think it's worthwhile for them to provide idealscope etc for them. So what hoping people could let me know what they think!

Also secondary question. Is JA overpriced for settings? Even on sale? Thanks!

These 2 are not a good matching pair IMO. Even though the first one may have decent enough numbers, it does not look
well cut. I would look for another match to the second stone you posted.

60/60 (table/depth) stones tend to be good for earrings because they let more light in. You might also consider those numbers.

So my wife's Er is a 60/60.and faces up awesome.

You think the second I posted and the one posted by lookinagain would be higher end cuts?

Any opinions on settings from James Allen? Worth it? Or should I just get them set ehre in Canada?

60/60 I find harder to source. That'd be an IDJ purchase I think.. Preferable though?

If your just looking for a typical setting like baskets Or martinis? If so and if you have a good jeweler that you can trust I think you could do it locally if you prefer that. Otherwise I’d have them set before shipping.
