Politically Incorrect Florida Thread

Did you hear the latest? Florida was hit by a hurricane. I know, it comes as a shock. I''ve read that it will be in the $10B+ range to rebuild and now I see the Prez has rushed down there to have a look. I shudder to think about how much he is promising to give them - election year and all. Being a swing State they sort of have him by the short hairs.

Florida is one of the richest States we have. I hope they have socked away enough money to fix what is now ailing them. If they don''t have the cash, they could always institute an income tax and earmark it for hurricane relief.

It will be a tax alright. Another tourist tax.

Stick it to the tourists! They got deep pockets!

That is, unless they can get it from the Feds.
