Pendant. I get a LOT more comment on my pendants than I do on my earrings. I also get to look down and see a pendant. Have to look in a mirror to see my earrings. I wear my diamonds and gems for me - not for anyone else :)

Did you have any specific details in mind?

Most likely would shop at WF for either and would be looking at either ACAs or ES stones. Probably would aim for around .40 for the pendant and 1 ctw for earrings, if that helps.

I voted earrings, but ...

That would mean your diamond budget has to be divided in half.

If you'd rather spend your budget on one fancier diamond get the pendant ... unless of course you pull a "Van Goh".

That means your budget has to be divided in half since you have to buy two diamonds.

If you'd rather your budget is spent on one fancier diamond it can be twice the price of the diamonds in the pair of earrings ... unless of course you pull a "Van Goh".

My budget is definitely higher for earrings versus a pendant. I’m thinking around $1500 for a pendant and more like $2500-$3000 max for earrings.

Oh, but think of the fabulous pendant diamond you could buy for $3,000! :Up_to_something::Up_to_something::Up_to_something:

Hahaha. My e-ring is only a 1.07 cushion, so I'm not sure I can go THAT crazy.

whichever you'd wear more. for me, it's definitely a pendant over earrings

I'm trying to think about that for sure. I haven't worn earrings much during Covid, but I'm hoping to get back into the habit of wearing them daily. I do have a lot of simple necklaces I like already too.

I wear my diamond stud earrings 24/7. I think they're a classic staple. Of course... I am biased because I always wear both diamond stud earrings AND diamond pendant, and I switch my pendants out every week. But if I had to choose, I would start with studs and then get a pendant. But really/..... get both ASAP! hehe

I voted earrings because I personally am more likely to remember to put earrings in than to put a pendant on. The pendant feels "fancier" to me than earrings.

I would recommend getting earrings with locking backs. I don't have them on mine and have pulled the earring backs off while removing my mask one too many times for comfort!

Obviously, option C is best.
But back to reality.
I personally went diamond solitaire pendant first.
It gave me maximum bling and I wear it 24/7.
Then I invested in .80 tcw stud earrings and was super happy for years until I finally upgraded them to 1.10 carats each.
Now I’m super happy I took my time.
I highly recommend acquiring the pendant first.
Pearl earrings pair well with it while you re-energize your bling budget!

For me, I feel naked without my studs so I vote for studs  but thats only my personal preference.
Which one would you wear the most and more staple for you? I think you should go with that. I wore necklace and studs 24/7, but I’m OK with not wearing necklace but not ok without studs =)2 what about you?

Studs
you can leave them in for days at a time (definatly take out for cleaning)

No question for me I would choose earrings (studs in your case). I rarely wear pendants but I always wear earrings.

However this is for you so which option would you most enjoy and wear?

Generally I view each piece as PPW (price per wear) and if I am going to love wearing one more frequently than the other there's my answer. It is a personal decision as we all have different needs and desires. Choose with your heart and gut and you won't go wrong.

It depends entirely on your own jewelry wear.

For me the answer is studs. (I still don't have a daily wear pendant after all these years, even though I want one!)

I just feel naked without earrings. And wearing plain hoops (my other go-to earrings besides studs) gets boring.

For me, I see my ear bling more than I would a necklace. I see my ear bling every time I wash my hands in front of a mirror or pass by a reflective surface. I have long hair, but it never hides my earrings.

For me I wear necklaces less because the neckline of my clothing changes daily, from turtlenecks in winter (when you need a really long necklace or don't need a necklace) to v-necks in spring to crew neck t-shirts or little strappy dresses in summer. They all take different necklaces. So for me at least, studs can be worn with all of those changing necklines and a pendant necklace has to change with each or not be worn at all with some (the turtlenecks.)
