Possible to find a 1ct+ OEC/Transitional w a 7k Budget?

Greetings all just wondering if its possible to find an Optically Decent OEC or preferably a Transitional in the 1ct to 1.25ct range with a 7k Budget?

I'm more than happy with Lower Colours like LMNOP+ Clarity Wise preferably Eye Clean but I just wanna see how plausible it is to find something 1ct+ with my Budget before I fully jump on the Lab Grown bus for this Project I do spy 1 or 2 Beautiful "lower colour" AVRs at DG, I just want to make sure I consider all the options before I committ to one or the other in my mind.

Your budget is very reasonable especially if you are open to lower colors!

If I'm honest I have to say anything above G is wasted on me I did buy a 0.74ct F Colour Pear last year and I thought I'd be really impressed by the Icy Whiteness it just left me feeling abit Eh the Stone itself is Beautiful and very well cut but I do love the Pastel Colours you see in the Warmer Tones I have a M Colour AVC that has really opened me up to Lower Colours but it all depends on the Optics the sweetspot for me is probably like a K L M colour still pretty White so I'd say I'm more comfortable with Lower Colours visually and a happy side effect is the price

Also I have no experience of IG Vendors but I'm open to all possibilities!

Gosh some absolute stunning stones haven't checked them all out yet but I've seen some great prices so far especially Park Fine Group, Yes I can imagine you gotta be swift with these IG Vendors - I'm UK Based would that be an issue do you think with some IG Vendors or would it be ok?

@Cosmetologist - don’t worry about buying from Old World Diamonds in the US, you will have to pay import duty, but for antique stones it’s a lot less than for new stones. Bella came from the US, and I was able to track her progress across the pond and FedEx contacted me prior to delivery to pay the duty. I did look in the UK for an OEC, but honestly, what I saw was very expensive and couldn’t hold a candle to OWD‘s selection.

Thanks I didn't know the import duty was slightly cheaper on Antique Stones that's definitely a bonus! Yes Antique Diamonds here are generally over priced even ones with Clarity issues and less than charming Optics, I'm glad to know you have experience in dealing with Old World Diamonds too especially being UK Based I've only ever ordered from Jon at DG & JA in the States and with it being a large purchase for me trust is so important so to hear first hand everything was smooth sailing is so comforting, I've seen quite a few stones I like already - This probably is a silly question but some Stones on there don't have any Images or Videos are they able to provide them upon request?

It just happened that after the visit, Missy decided to part with Bea, but I would’ve been completely confident in any of the stones I saw.

It sounds like everything slotted into place you finding Bella isn't it funny how things work out, I'm glad you mentioned that about your trip to NY as we are heading there for a Christmas break this Dec and I never considered about actually looking in person but that would save alot of hassle and you can't beat seeing them in person now if I can wait till December is another thing!
