Spinoff from another thread and as per 1001 Smiles, lets see your inclusions. I've got a few stones like that but not that many photos. I'll see what I can find, though. (Stones in photos were bought from other PSers.)

I love inclusions. Stones without inclusions (imo) = :nono:

top stone = tourmaline w. copper (?) needles

What's the included part in the top picture, is it the yellow and pink flashes?

Well, yes. These are as close as I can get to inclusion photos, IEB.

Sorry, the pic was kind of shaky :( but that's really cool - I would totally buy/wear a stone with that kind of inclusion, it looks very pretty! I wonder how you go about seeking that kind of thing out - I imagine you just encountered it while browsing?

That's funny, I was just ready to start the thread too, but had to delete it when I saw this one...
I took some pics of my little collection of quartz inclusions, so here it goes, in alpha order...

First, ajoite...

OK, last one, as I just got it... The vendor called it Quantum Quattro, it has silicated malachite and azurite (supposedly)... the color is very cool, all suspended in clear quartz...

This concludes my posting spree... :))

Thanks for looking, and thanks Sonoma for starting the thread. I look forward to other cool examples.

Not mine, but a Quartz with a "madagascar" inclusion (no clue what that is!!) that I thought was pretty

I think it's lodolite, aka garden quartz, landscape quartz, or scenic quartz...

Cool, how can you tell - from the visual or is that a term that is commonly used? :)

Wow, 1001Smiles, what have you been keeping from us this whole time? What a magnificent collection. They are all beauties!

1001,
You have not only a varied collection, but a very interesting and cool one too.

I sold this stone recently and it features my favorite quartz inclusion -- gold!

I also collect and enjoy gems with interesting inclusions, especially quartzes, and some really great images have been posted in this thread!

Yes, exactly.

Awesome stones all. Thanks so much for putting them up. Do you have any favorite vendors for nice included stones?

Different types of chrysocolla in quartz...

I love the flowery pattern on the second one. I have never seen something similar. Mostly, I see the more "orby" pattern.

I am drooling over this thread - so many nice inclusions!
