I have one project R&D going with a lavender/blue sapphire but diamonds are pulling me from it. The truth is I'm not rushing the process. I don't want to buy the right color, but wrong size stone. Or vice versa, because it's not a small investment.

So, onto the wish list! A ring.. No gemstones.. I'd like to stick to the diamonds please. Second hand will get me more bang for my buck! I'm ok with non certified as long as they are from reputable vendors. I'm also GREAT with color. I prefer it. I can't do "white" diamonds. I like warmth.. slight or heavy, makes no difference to me. I'm not partial to any cut, but I have a very old soul. So a ring, or earrings would be a nice splurge. Care to help me shop? Lab Grown are CERTAINLY on the table as well!! but those would require certs.

Thank you in advance ps'ers you know where all the deals are!!!
xo

ps: nothing enhanced in any way please, ive learned my lesson one too many times with enhanced diamonds!

In general, I would do a LARGE eternity band, or long diamond earrings. I think for $9999 you could get really amazing ones! Also, I see Parks Fine Group mentioned on here a lot - perhaps check out their instagram?

Will post some links of things that I see online that seem good! I don't live in the US so I don't know the best online sources :D

Following seemed really nice from JbG:
- https://www.jewelsbygrace.com/colle...ancy-yellow-asscher-cut-diamond-eternity-band = 5.06ctw fancy yellow band
- https://www.jewelsbygrace.com/collections/bands/products/2-88ctw-pear-cut-diamond-half-eternity-band 2.88ctw pear cut 4 stone band
- https://www.jewelsbygrace.com/colle...oducts/3-12ctw-victorian-diamond-cluster-ring 3.12ctw Victorian cluster ring (slightly above budget)
- https://www.jewelsbygrace.com/colle...p-step-cut-diamond-mosaic-bezel-stud-earrings mosaic step cut studs - they look REALLY well done and face up 11.4x9mm.
- https://www.jewelsbygrace.com/colle...wardian-old-mine-cut-diamond-cluster-earrings 3.8ctw old mine cluster earrings
- https://www.jewelsbygrace.com/colle...2-50ctw-victorian-pendeloque-diamond-earrings 2.5ctw victorian long earrings - mix of antique cuts
- https://www.jewelsbygrace.com/colle...-round-brilliant-cut-diamond-cluster-earrings 4.2ctw round brilliant cut cluster earrings, these are amazing and probably my favourites.

Edit - UGH just realised you probably meant under 5k, not under 5 figures :wall: ok will post more. These are all (just) under 10k because I misunderstood the assignment

Trying again...

- I know you said you love lower coloured stones, but this is a screaming deal on a beautiful stone. I would buy just the stone and put the rest of the budget into a more antique setting: https://www.pricescope.com/communit...with-or-without-halo-setting-for-sale.268917/

From JbG:
- https://www.jewelsbygrace.com/products/3-00ctw-face-up-emerald-cut-mosaic-diamond-studs - a smaller version of the ones I posted earlier. I do think they present great value. 3ctw face up mosaic studs.
- https://www.jewelsbygrace.com/colle...18ctw-diamond-drop-screw-back-earrings-french 2.18ctw drop dangle earrings
- https://www.jewelsbygrace.com/colle...s/2-00ctw-vintage-diamond-chandelier-earrings - 2ctw vintage diamond chandelier earrings
- https://www.jewelsbygrace.com/colle...cts/1-75ctw-pear-cut-fancy-diamond-drop-studs yellow and white drop earrings - my favourites!!
- https://www.jewelsbygrace.com/colle...e-round-brilliant-cut-triple-row-diamond-band 2.9ctw triple row ring. A lot of ring, I really like it!
- https://www.jewelsbygrace.com/colle...s/1-91ctw-retro-art-old-mine-cut-diamond-ring I sort of love this. Looks like a chunky cocktail ring - 1.91ctw old mine ring
- https://www.jewelsbygrace.com/colle...oducts/1-35ctw-old-mine-cut-diamond-halo-ring pretty cluster ring, imo a little small but it's very delicate and an old mine! 1.35ctw cluster
- https://www.jewelsbygrace.com/colle...3ctw-round-brilliant-cut-diamond-cluster-ring 2.93ctw cluster ring - its a disco ball but I kind of love it

never bought anything from JbG but I believe its consignment, so should be cheaper though not as cheap as some of the instagram vendors!

You were correct the first time..under 10k!!! <3

@Mreader I have hoops, and studs..but small ones..mainly CE's. I think a tennis bracelet is on santas list so that's off the table as well [yay!]. I'm not a pin girl.. earrings or rings really..if I found one big fat pendent that would be nice..choices choices!

Woohoo! Then definitely explore options in my first post ;) Also I saw some stones on PFG that were in the $7-8k range that looked gorgeous, but those go so fast you have to jump on them!

how on earth do you buy anything on instagram???

There was a marquise just listed I missed out on I would have SNAPPED that up..dam.. beautiful stuff! I wish they had a regular store front. Thank you for this.. I'll watch them.

I misinterpreted your original post and thought when you said under five you meant under 5K. That alters the situation! What does “CE” stand for? I would love a pair of white flash hoops and those are around 10 K.

She has pieces that are owned by her, plus consignment. I think most of her inventory she owns. Not sure the percentage, but only a portion are consignment.

She does offer a discount for wire/check as well.

ce = clarity enhanced.. not making that mistake again..oi!

Check out sincityfinds on IG. She posts every day at 2pm Pacific time. Her stuff is fabulous ❤️
And having bought my first pair of OEC studs just last December that gets my vote. I wear them often. Love their chunkalicious facets. I got mine from Grace at jbg.

I would upgrade my tennis bracelet

This would be pretty set east west in a gyspsy ring. Old cut, plus warm- fancy yellow to boot.

I love these, but that's probably just me!

Her stuff is beautiful but it looks to me like you literally have to sit on her page and wait for the updates and be ready to insta purchase. that's a lot of pressure lol. Thank you she is book marked though! lots of pretty items.

Ivy and rose is one of my all time favorite go to's. And it's in my home town.. I watch them daily these are beautiful ty.

That’s true. Her stuff goes fast. Looking forward to seeing you what you decide to get. ❤️

@Cerulean I think a ring with a chunky old cut would suit me best. I'm not opposed to a vintage bracelet either. I'm not too keen on earrings [my goldsmith has 3x projects in the works for me right now converting old gold/family stuff into hoops and earrings].

@lulu_ma I DID see those delicious diamonds..and I will admit I fawned..but the metal setting drove me nuts. I would have to get it reset..and I wasn't looking for a project piece. Just beautiful though thank you!

Well it is official, I hate instagram. I refuse to even window shop there any more. Any and everything from every vendor I've seen that gets posted gets instantly snatched up. And to add insult to injury the responses I'm getting back are "yes another jeweler purchased it". And we're talking the SECOND it's posted. The shark tank mentality is a little too much to even enjoy the process. Find something you like? gone. Posted/updated you like? gone. Back to the hunt on normal websites.
