I wanted to see if there is any interest in engagement and wedding ring set.
Purchased through Harold Stevens in 2004, this is a substantial 950 platinum Sholdt Design semi-bezel setting and matching wedding ring with hand engraving all around. This is a very comfortable and durable, low to finger mounting.
Original cost to make: $3,700 for the setting with yellow sapphires, the matching wedding band with small round brilliant diamond accents $1,700, (1) unheated natural 1.68 carat Ceylon sapphire $2,800. Total of $8,200
The appraisal was done over 13 years ago and is for only the engagement ring valued at $9,500.
David Klass recently cleaned and polished it and it's sized a generous 6.5. Looks brand new. This level of hand engraving is hard to find anymore due to the cost of this time-consuming detailing.
Just listed on LoupeTroop and happy to send to an agreed-upon jeweler for inspection.
