Yea! Practice hair -- please keep in mind that it wasn''t pinned as closely as it will be on the wedding day (which is funny b/c there were about a gazillion pins in there) and we had just yanked the veil off rather uncarefully...

However, it''s just what I wanted -- soft and loose because the rest of the get-up is SO formal...I need some softness...

So excuse the random scragglies and out of place curls...y''all get the idea, I hope.

Thanks guys -- I''m working on trying to manipulate the picture. My mom took them...she didn''t have her glasses on, so she zoomed the lens as close as it would go, and she was just standing about 2 feet away from me. Hee!

Jas, I think it looks lovely! Although i would love to see some less close-up pics, I can tell from these pics that you have the same color hair mine was when I got married (only 3 yrs. ago, it''s not like I''m gray or anything, just more highlighted, tee hee). Anyway, I had a lot going on with my updo, as far as little curls pinned in everywhere, kind of a loose french twist, etc., hard to explain. But, all of my pics turned out fabulous, as my hairdresser used lots of shine spray, and even my black and whites turned out great because there was a ton of texture going on to catch different lights. I think you''ve chosen a great style, and I say that without even seeing face pics! Congrats, and I hope it works out for you!

Gosh, you are all so sweet!

Monarch, this is the color I should have...I started going gray at EIGHT-FRICKIN-TEEN and went the gamut from red to blond to lord knows what. No fun with the upkeep.

I really appreciate your comment about the photos and the texture...I just wanted something a little different than the smooth-all-over-pulled-back thing because I have a rather...umm...severe face (Very sharp features) and I didn''t want my face to walk down the aisle minutes ahead of the rest of me, ya know?

I do have a front face pic...I''ll dig that up and try to play with it size wise...still coping with whooping cough and now FI has it too...we''re just a mess with 25 days to go.
