Hi all

After a major spending spree, I'm reevaluating and listing some of my impulsive buys that I don't really "need" - plus I've upgraded some of my collection so am listing others for that reason.

I'll be adding to this over the next week or so, but starting off today with a Gene asscher like blue topaz (5.05 cts, 9.38 mm, $350 shipped in US), a round Barry Tanga garnet (2.93 cts, 8.4 mm, $205 shipped), a mahenge spinel pear (1.44 cts from Prima, @ 8x6.5 mm, asking $500), another mahenge oval 1.96 cts, @8.5x6.5, asking $900

Lots of info over there - asking $610 for all three or $325 for mahenge ring, $225 for untreated yellow Ceylon sapphire ring, $105 for demantoid ring - all are @size 8.75 rang, slightly adjustable since they're open. Sapphire and mahenges are set in 14k YG; demantoids set in 14k YG bezels with a sterling twist band

Still hard to believe that the mahenge is still available...close to 2 carats and less than $500 pct...if I wasn't on a pink stone ban, it would be gone

Lilmosun - I'm kind of surprised myself, lol. I am back and forth on selling this one - I already have it listed for less than I paid about a year ago, which is probably silly to begin with. I couldn't replace this gem with anything similar for what I'm asking for it...the more I think about it, the more I think I should hold onto it a bit longer...I don't even "need" the cash right now, it's probably stupid to even sell it, right??

Lilmosun, I really appreciate your comment bc you've made me rethink it. If it had sold right away I'd be ok with it, but since it hasn't...I think I'll just pull it.

Ok I pulled the mahenge oval as I've decided to hang onto it for awhile longer, and hopefully I will get inspired to set it

I still have the Barry B garnet available, and I will go through my stuff and see if there's anything else I can part with...

The garnet is 2.93 cts, 8.4 mm round and here are a few more pics. Just paid $205 for it about 6 weeks ago maybe? So I'm looking to get back what I have into it, and it's a lovely gem.

I'm sorry I don't ship int'l, I always feel so badly about that. Just so everyone knows, it's bc USPS won't insure loose gems, and as a seller, it would be my responsibility if a package got lost in transit. Then I'd be out the gem plus the cash, and I just can't take the risk for anything that's expensive (in my mind, really anything valued over ~$50 or so).
