Preloved CVB band: lost a melee :(

I bought this CVB band from a fellow PSer on loupetroop a couple years ago in perfect condition. I just noticed this morning a melee missing and I can feel a prong sticking out.

What would you do? Send it to Caysie at CVB it have a local jeweler to replace/repair?

When I had this problem I tried to contact caysie and I didn’t get a reply, but I also didn’t keep trying. It was just a prong that needed to be tapped down though and no lost stone. The bench at the big city I go to was able to fix it and he remarked at how well made the ring is and how to tell if the prong lifts again.

If you have a very reliable local jeweler I would think they could replace the stone and fix the prong. If you don't, then I'd send it off to Caysie. But my preference would be local first.
