Pretty in Pink... a contender for my ring.

I’ve never bought colored stones before but I was looking for a pink tourmaline or spinel or garnet to mount in my ring. This one is such a pretty color and it seems like the perfect size. Less than $100 so I’m tempted. Here is the link, https://etsy.me/2Sm0Oj9

MrsKMB it will go in my avatar ring instead of the diamond that is sitting there now. I like pink and I couldn’t think of what else to put in there.

Arcadian, I thought a warmer color will be lovely! It will probably look darker once it’s set... uh, I think so...

My other option would be to contact the vendor and ask for a pink spinel in about 5.8mm - she seems pretty highly thought of on PS. I hear that spinel has more sparkle.

It's a very pretty stone at a great price I also recommend the vendor highly, shes made the majority of my good jewelry I'd also ask her if she has any pink spinel that isn't listed in the shop, her inventory is large! She has lots of attractive ring and pendant options if you want her to set it, too.

I would ask Yvonne about other pink stones she has or can get for you. Send a photo of your ring, too. She's really good with colors and can tell you what she has that will look good with your gold, especially since she has the stones in hand and can see the true colors.
