I can''t decide if I want pave on the ring I am having made. So LM emailed me these pretty pave rings to show me the choices. He said if I wanted it, the first type of pave would be the best choice.

i still don''t know if I will go that route, but here they are for everyone to see...

To pave or not pave?

Kayla,

Nice rings..Thanks for the eye-candy...

I personally like the one at the bottom of the pile. I want one as an 'eternity' or 'anniversary' ring for my 30th. However, mine will be pave w/champagne or cognac diamonds in a very white (not gray) metal. Also the stones will only go about 2/3's around. I'm not sure yet if they will be bead set, though I like that look the best.

Any ideas on the metal?

Bottom of pile or top of pile..I like the side detail view on the top pile one...it's kind of like mine from the side...looks slightly more prong set than pave.Bottom pile is 3 sided, top pile is 1 sided.

Very pretty. I like #1 and #3 (looking from left to right). They have little setting showing -- complete paved with stones.

Oooooo. Can't choose, can't choose. They are all so pretty. Thanks for the pic. Where is it from? (I'd love to visit that site and drool for awhile).

Wow, all of those are lovely looking bands. I like #1 myself. I like the v-shaped detailing, & the prong-type look.

Bumping this up to find out if anyone knows what site that photo came from. I love those rings. I am considering a pave set wedding band.

Thanks

You know what is really interesting? I just got done reading the new JCK magazine (for the trade - I always sneak it from a friend). They had a really good article regarding the hottest trend in wedding rings - pave. Heehee, some of you have been right in front of the cutting edge, I guess. Too bad that I love the look of pave, but can't stand the feel against my other fingers. I guess a pave pendant will have to satisfy me.

I like pave also, but don't like the feel. I have some pave earrings -- huggie style that I really like. You don't feel the pave, but you see a super sparkly earring!

I got used to my pave band within a few weeks. The first few weeks it felt a little odd but now I don't even notice its on my hand (dangerous!). Plus it's pretty low profile and I think that helps. Some of those more rounded 3 sided ones with alot more ctw which are like a big ball of pave all the way around seem like they may be slightly harder to wear.

my e-ring is a three sided pave 1.5 ctw around the band, and I honestly can't feel it. Sometimes I panic when I am just falling asleep and think it isn't on my finger, because it has become such a part of my hand and then I look down to see it sitting there peacefully on my finger(phew!). It's weird, but it honestly took me only about 2 hours to get used to wearing it that first day, and I am someone who wears NO jewelry normally. Wearing necklaces on the other hand - they completely irritate my neck.
