Pricescope diamond prices compared to what a jeweler can bring in

Next week I am flying out to meet with a jeweler who is a rep. for Erika Winters. I have selected the setting, and now I'm going back out as they will be bringing in some diamonds for me. I feel good about this jeweler, and have also been trying to stay apprised of current costs by watching the Pricescope monthly diamond pricing. My question to all of you, is about the prices that I am seeing on the thread. Are those market prices or wholesale? I'm guessing market?

Use the PS search not the charts to compare prices for like kind. https://www.pricescope.com/diamonds/search?m=1
They are internet retail prices.
B&M prices might be higher but it gives you a ballpark on whats a good price.

"Wholesale" to the public is a misnomer, a whole can of worms.
Wholesale is when a wholesaler sells to a verified legitimate retail seller.

Misuse of the term wholesale by a retailer selling to the public is a red flag to me.
IMO it attracts gullible poorly-informed retail buyers.
If they're lying about this, what else might they be lying about?

Thank you for the insight. Just to clarify - I'm the one who introduced 'wholesale' term. The jeweler that I'm working with never mentioned anything like that. I'm just trying to be a savvy consumer and have a ballpark understanding of what diamonds, with specs that I'm interested in would be fetching in the current market. I so appreciate everyone's insights on this site.
