Pricess Cut - ASET Help please

Hi Everyone,

Reaching out to get some second, third or fourth opinions on some diamonds that I have narrowed it down to. I've got some ASET images and AGS certs for the ones that I am interested in and hoping to run it past everyone for my own sanity.

I was happy to drop to VS2 and even SI1 but the options are very limited for princess cut in ideal cuts based on a lot of digging around the web.

There are aspects of both that I like but really unsure about which one would provide the more "sparkle". The JA one certainly has an additional chevron but I read this doesn't necessarilyresult in more sparkle?

0.846ct, H, VS1 "ACA"
5.15 x 5.05 x 3.77 mm




JA:
0.84ct, H, VS1 Ideal Cut
5.16 x 5.05 x 3.78 mm

Based on what you have said, I am not sure if either of these are the ones for you.

the stone needs to grab you and I don’t hear it in what you say.

but it could also be analysis-paralysis!!! Lolol

With what you have provided based on the ASET, I like the look of the WF. It has more symmetrical pattern/appearance. But it could be the imaging...I also like higher crown. But it has a bigger table. Hmmm. So a few compromises.

a video image would help and that could change opinions. Hehehe.

AGS very best work I think was with princess cuts.
Even up to 75% table there are some (not many) excellent proportion combinations GC.

You are spot on - it is definitely analysis-paralysis. I may have sounded subdued in my description, but both of these are the ones that I reallly like and finding it hard to pick one!

I am leaning more towards the WF one myself and the customer experience with WF to-date has been spectacular...

Thanx for the info.

performance aside, I like the look of puffy crowns- high crown angles and small table snd admittedly Thst is most likely for a round than a princess.

But I hbae seen princesses with puffy crowns and I do like it a bit more.Hence my comment about the crown snd table. Guess there is a possibility of high crowns and bigger tables in princess to make to all work as your AGS evidence shows.
