Love it - looks like a beautifully cut princess!

Glad you all liked the set. My fiancee is real simple gal and we both like simple clean looks so the classic solitaire setting was ideal for both of us.

Sorry if this sounds like a shameless plug but I just want to share one more time how happy I was with both vendors I used... I hope this helps anybody who was in my position in getting an engagement ring...

For the rock, I came across Martin Sheffield and his website (http://www.usacerteddiamonds.com) after reading the many positive experiences on Pricescope from other users. After reading through his buying guides, I used the search engines on his site to select a few princess cuts I thought would be worthy and with Martin's advice selected the rock you see posted up top. I was a bit nervous at the thought of sending money to somebody over the Internet but Martin handled everything perfectly. In the end, I got a super quality rock for much less than other online Internet sites (25% cheaper than a comparable rock at Blue Nile) and was pleasantly surprised how quickly and trouble-free everything went.

For the setting, I also relied on feedback from other Pricescope users as well as Google and Yelp reviews in choosing Oscar's Design Jewelry (http://www.oscaring.com). Oscar didn't have a problem with me not buying the rock from him and both he and his staff were super courteous and friendly during all visits. I gave Oscar some pictures of what I wanted in the setting and he was able to get everything done on short notice keeping me in the loop every step of the way. The whole experience really changed my perceptions of the LA Jewelry District and I totally recommend him for anybody in the LA area. By the way, Oscar says he will beat any online prices for rocks if you bring him a printout so I would say his prices are definitely pretty good!
