I have been looking for a princess cut diamond for quite a while now and came up with this stone that looks promissing. I have not actually seen the stone but from the numbers it looks like a 1B. This one I found at a local b&m store that came recommended. I am wanting a opinion on the stone for the price (would you buy or not)? They are bringing this stone in for me to look at next week but dont want to get my hopes up. So what do you guys think? I do not want to buy over internet so is this a competitive price for a b&m store.

For a table size of 55%, you need at least 69.66% depth

For a table size of 65%, you need at least 69.50% depth
For a table size of 70%, you need at least 70.00% depth
For a table size of 75%, you need at least 73.33% depth
For a table size of 80%, you need at least 72.16% depth

i would pass on that one.

Is price to high or you guys dont think it would look good. I am confused because it is a 1b on the cut chart right?

The reason why so few are responding to your thread, is because the whole concept of princess-cuts and cut-quality has recently been shaken up by the introduction of new AGS cut-grades for princess-cuts.

AGS has taken us outside of the box, and lead us to produce princess-cuts with unbelievable light performance, compared to the traditionally cut princesses.

The data of your stone show that it is definitely not an AGS-0, and probably not an AGS-1 either. However, compared to the traditionally available princess-cuts, this could still be a relatively nice stone. It will only not be the dazzling newly available AGS-0, but that is also reflected in the price.

Therefore, if you are looking for the best cut available, this is not a stone for you. If you are looking for a ''not-too-bad'', nice stone, it could be the one, but you will have to look at the stone yourself.

Live long,
