Problems logging in....spooky situation...

So the other day at work, I was on here and I would have sworn I logged in as myself..well i went to post something and all of a sudden it said i was a different user....hmmm. I immediately logged out and logged back in..everything was fine until I went to post something..it said i was a diferent user!
Well, i do have a computer here at work but I also sometimes use the universal one downstairs..it is just very convienent at times. So i let it go and I just tried to log in again this morning around 7am...it did it again.. I could have just used my computer but i was curious to see why the universal one was doing this...or if i really WAS crazy!
I wasnt going to try to post anything because if it posts as someone else's name..that would be awful!
So today i did the same thing and then i I log out thinking that maybe its just me. I go get something out of the vending machine and go back to the place where that computer was and there is a girl sitting there...hmm...I then sit down at a different computer and go to Pricescope. As I am waiting for the page to load...I look over at the girl and the computer screen and see that she is on......................PRICESCOPE!!!! So I of course butt in and ask her about the website that she's on and we start talking for like a 1/2 hour! She is Diamondsgirl22! She is working at my place of work for the summertime while she is out of school! I know!

She is the login name that i kept showing up when i was about to post something! The computer technician that i talked to said that if people share a computer and a website that it just stores the info and with certain websites it goes cookoo! Nonetheless I am not going back to that same computer in the case that I do post something and it goes under her name! I am in utter disbelief that I met another LIW! and she was right under my nose!!! Its such a coincidence that I am still in disbelief!!!
So to everyone out there that shares a computer with others...Be careful the next time you post something on PS!

I guess life throws stuff at you sometimes!

Has anything crazt like this happened to anyone else?!?

Hahaha, that''s hilarious!! Wow, what are the odds... Did she notice the same thing, that she was showing up as someone else when she logged in at work?

I hope your bosses don''t catch you--two employees on the same site, haha, could get ugly...

she said she thought that something was up but just ignored it, because what are the odds?! its still really weird that that happened! Well, i am now using MY computer so hopefully no more spooky things will happen!

Hey girls! I would love to stumble upon another PSer at work!!!!

I think I may have solved the mystery though, when you first log in, you can tick a little box underneath your login details that says '' keep my logged in at this computer'' or something along those lines. This is remembered by the PC and when you go to the PS website, it automatically remembers you. I am assuming that when you login as yourself it remembers you, and when the other PSer goes to the site, your details are automatically logged in until she logs you out and logs in as herself and vice versa! I think if you have IT clear the cache or whatever that little thingy that remebers things is, and next time you log in, don''t click the little box that says keep me loggin in yada yada. Keep in mind, this box may be ticked as a default.

Ooooh! I am going to see if I can track down any PSers today!!!
