hello ladies !! 
so good to be back ... hope I get to be here a bit now.
though I have come back now and then to read a bit and try to catch up, I haven''t had time to really sit and write and I do feel a bit of a fraud hanging out on the LIW list still ... but this is where you all are !!!
so, can you BELIEVE it was this time last year that I came back from home HYPER-EXCITED ... one year and two weeks ago today my darling proposed to me and made me SO FREAKIN'' HAPPY !! We went out to the same restaurant we went to last year and I felt so incredible to be sitting there one year on, and all that has changed for us since then.
here is the latest. we went home for Christmas, it was brilliant and I had a fabulous time with my sisters. little Róisín is just seven months now, she''s gorgeous. just SUCH a cutie-pie ! Leon is six and so full of chat and enthusiasm, Dean just turned two last week and he now has six real words - as follows: ''Mom'' (very matter-of-fact and loud!! hehe) ''Dada'', ''Nana'', ''tea'', (which is used for most foodstuffs, especially his bottle in the evening when he''s sleepy!) ''cool'' (too damn cute) and my fave of all ..... ''wow-whee'' ......... I LOVE this little guy, he is just such a little man ..... they are all wonderful, my sisters are truly blessed. It was so great spending time with the kids.
as a bonus, my sister Denise (the boys Mum) got engaged on December 29th. she and Richie have been together seven plus years, two sons together, very happy - just never did the marriage thing - until now ! Her ring is amazing. In fact I was so taken with it I was thinking '''' I should have thought of something like that '''' (naaaah, just for a minute, I LOVE my ring!)
They went to a jeweler in Dingle who does her own work, from scratch, but it''s very arty and not at all traditional. Bascially Denise''s ring is a ''blob'' of white gold, which settled into shape naturally and then she had some of it polished and had some of it matt finished. Then they dropped a yellow gold ''blob'' into the centre and let that settle. Then it felt a bit too big on her finger so she cut off one end/corner of the ''blob'' and in the opposite corner she set a little teeny tiny diamond. The band is ''square'', you know, like mine, has actual edges and there are etching in it like runes. Her ring is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO cool !!! and it''s really her too.
The really nice thing too is that on Christmas morning when they came up to our house, she was wearing a thin platinum chain with a loop that had this little ''blob'' on it ... and we (the sisters) all thought it was a bit strange. It was part of her Christmas present from Richie but it was just this tiny blob of white gold on a platinum chain ....
it was only when she got engaged on the 29th that we learned that it was the part of the ring which they removed - he had it put on a chain for her so she would always have it !! isn''t that so sweet ?!
okay, going to stop here and find a pic of the gorgeous kiddies to send along .....
