question:

My father passed away when I was 11. I would like to include his name and the names of our deceased grandparents somewhere in our programs.

1- Should I put my dads name with my moms under "Parents of the Bride" and put The Late (Dads Name) and (Moms Name)
or should I just put "Mother of the Bride: Mom's Name" and put his name in a special section honoring him? Or do both? Both FI's parents are with us so I will be listing "Parents of the Groom" for them

2- What about grandparents? Only FI's grandma is alive. Should I just list her after our parents names, and then put the names of our deceased grandparents in a special section, or include them all under the grandparents section and just indicate them as "the late"

I dont like that word "late" so I am kind of hesitating to use it, and I dont mind putting my grandparents names in a special section, but I dont know what to do about my dad.

What would you suggest for this? Thanks!

My dad died a couple of months after I met my now husband. We didn''t want to include the word "late" in our program either, so we did a special rememberance on the back page of our program. In other words, we did not list his name with our parents/grandparents in the list of people (does that make sense?) I can''t find my program right now but we had a short poem and at the bottom we had "in rememberance of John Smith, Jellybean''s father".
