Prong pendant setting - BGD or WF?

Hi, everyone!

I'm interested in the 3-(martini) or 4-prong pendant in YG that both Whiteflash and BGD have available. The size of the diamond should be between 0.4-0.5ct.
Whether I should go with BGD or WF if I want a dainty, fine/thin, and sparkly chain and the setting that would emphasize the diamond and make it float.

Thank you so much in advance for any help and suggestions, and photos are more than welcome.

Both WF and BG are 1.0mm. They're exactly the same.

Bought my wife’s engagement stone from BGD and was very pleased.

Something to consider if all else is equal. Both have good upgrade programs but BGD is a little more restrictive. WF is simple — swap for an equal or greater value stone. BGD requires that 2 of the 3 following C’s must be improved: carats, color or clarity.

Starting at a K/SI1 gives loads of upgrade opportunity. Starting at F/VS1 is considerably more limiting. I have heard there is some discretionary flexibility but this may be a consideration depending on your own specifics.

While not every engagement stone gets upgraded, I could see complimentary pieces being more likely candidates. Just something to consider in your equation.

I also think either company would order for you any thickness chain you wanted - not a deal breaker one way or another!
I have bought from WF several times - their upgrade policy is so easy!!

I know that WF can get for you almost whatever mm thickness chain you want. BG probably can too. So that's something you can adjust depending on your preferences.
