Proposal dreams. UGH!

Mine, and FF''s 8½-year anniversary is on Tuesday. That being said, he''s coming for a short (reallyyy short.. like, 10 hours, if that) visit tomorrow (he''s 4 hours away, for work over the summer), and the hopeless romantic in me is screaming out for a proposal..

Picture this, if you will:
I open the door, to find him on one knee, and he spews the most adorable thing I''ve heard in my life--

"I know our anniversary isn''t until tomorrow, but I just couldn''t bare the thought of making you spend yet another month as my ''girlfriend''. We''ve been through thick, and thin together, and I know that our bond; our love will last an eternity.. will you be my wife?"

*sighs*. Niiiice, huh?
Yeah, that''s what I thought when I dreamed it last night. UGH.

Stop bugging me, thoughts! You''re ruining me!

I have dreams about proposals and rings and weddings all the time! If only some of them would start coming true...

Now that we''re both on the same page and I know he''ll be the one proposing it''s all I can dream about. I dream during the day too whenever I can.

He knows I"d be fine w/ a ring from a candy machine so I picture him doing something silly like that.

Then I can picture him doing something romantic like going out on the boat at dusk.

He knows I love nail polish so maybe he''d put the ring on the cap of a bottle and give it to me that way.


Who knows but it''s driving me nuts!

awww, what a good dream MrsHToBe and you''re not alone!

i''ve had a few proposal dreams before, but the one that stands out the most is the one i had when i was with an ex-boyfriend. i don''t remember the details like how he proposed but, i know that we were at my grandparents'' condo and the ring he proposed with was this hideous brown diamond cluster ring. it was seriously gawd-awful, but i was sobbing tears of joy. i clearly remember i woke up with actual tears on my face, and i was so disappointed it wasn''t real.

for me, the dream meant that deep down, i want my family to be present or at least have knowledge of the upcoming proposal. i also know that it won''t matter what kind of ring he''ll propose with and that i''m a huge crier.
