I wanted to start a thread for my burgeoning collection of CvB jewelry. My first piece was a Sierra 3-stone featuring a cornflower blue sapphire sourced on Instagram from Ceylonbluesapphires and antique OMCs from AVC plus an accompanying band featuring stones my husband cut out it an antique watch acquired on eBay

From there I was hooked! Next I visualized a beautiful halo ring with a center OEC and rubies surrounding. I found a gorgeous 2ct qr color OMC, again on Instagram, through jewelsbywhitney and we were off to the races.

I knew I wanted chunky, juicy, old cut stones for the halo and could not find anything ready made, so I went back to ceylonbluesapphires with my request. We chatted extensively about my vision and he cut 10 gorgeous unheated rubies for me in an OMC shape at 3.5mm.

From there I worked with Caysie on my vision for the ring. Oh, and in the midst of all of this, I was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. So it officially became my eff cancer ring. Caysie worked with me to achieve my vision for the ring, which included a 10-sided mounting for the center diamond with the rubies surrounding and “toujours” style engraving on a 3mm band. It was well worth the wait! And then of course I happened to see her list a cascabela ring on loupetroupe and knew that this beautiful flower needed a little snake to keep it company.

And then I also had to get some earrings made to accessorize my newly bald head for that, I used some Montana sapphires that I had cut a while back by Dan O’Neil. They of course also came out gorgeous.

I hope you enjoy these as much as I do! Thanks for letting me share.

The specific color (alloy) and texture of gold you have chosen is the perfect foil for bringing coherence to the colors of your corundums (and diamonds)! Thank you for sharing your beautiful collection…and keep EFFing cancer in gorgeous style!!

Love your collection and also hoping that the eff cancer ring has been successful!

Thank you :D I never expected to have cancer at all, much less in my early 40s. It has been a surreal and unwelcome experience. I have my final round of chemo next week, thank goodness! Then there is the long road ahead of mastectomy and reconstruction, along with continuing treatment. I will need the earrings for a while ;)2

What a gorgeous collection-I especially love the Sapphire three stone with the omc band!

I hope you enjoy your beauties and wish you the best in your battle against cancer!

You have such an interesting and stunning collection. Wishing you all the best for your last bit of treatment!

I particularly love the sapphire ring.

So pretty! Love that blue sapphire!

And the significance of that ruby cluster is really special.

Love your collection and wishing you all the best

Thank you for sharing your collection and journey. I wish you health and happiness.

Love them all

They are all each stunning on its own and together they are quite the curated collection. Wishing you health and happiness!

Wishing you good health and happiness! And yeah, eff cancer!!

You have a beautifully impressive collection.
I love the symbolism to your eff cancer ring. I'll finish the sentence, because I'm saucy like that, 'right in the ear'.
You give it hell, and good luck!

Beautiful collection! The colours are stunning!

Huge luck on your cancer journey. Go kick it in the butt!

Congratulations on such gorgeous jewels. Caysie did them justice. Wear those proudly while kicking cancer butt. Sending you healing thoughts.

What a stunning collection! I lust after your ruby halo (eff cancer) ring!! As a fellow breast cancer survivor sister, I love your style! Fight on!

Beautiful collection! I love sapphires and rubies, so I especially love your choices of stones! And of course, Caysie is awesome, as usual!

What a collection. That's a handful of heirlooms right there.

This group shot is stunning. They're all so unique. Each is gorgeous in its own right!! And together they look like one big beautiful jewellery family. I can't pinpoint what it is that they all share - but it's so clear to me that one designer created all of these masterpieces

Congratulations on your last chemo round! What a journey. That eff cancer ring is vibing all day everyday for you!! Ihope your health and your CvB collection grow hand in hand :appl: ❤️

What a stunning collection! I’m honestly not sure I could pick a fav, though the eff cancer ring “wins” on symbolism alone! I hope that the last treatment and surgery goes well and you can wear your ring with pride for decades to come!

Such beautiful CVB pieces!

I support your eff cancer sentiment. Hope you are back in good health very soon!

Sending you many, many good thoughts. I had surgery last January for breast cancer. I only had to do a partial mastectomy and radiation. My mom had a similar path as yours. I will send positive thoughts and energy your way. I have no doubt you are rocking those earrings! Keep kicking cancers *ass!

Gorgeous collection. Love the blue of your sapphire. May you continue to wear your jewels in good health and kick cancer' butt!!

I adore every single one of these pieces, and especially love the OEC and ruby cluster (EFF CANCER!)

I'm late to this thread! Thank you for sharing, loved looking at your collection!

Gorgeous! Stunning collection !

I might have to try on those beautiful rings for a wee moment...

How big is the blue sapphire? I love that ring!

I'm just now seeing this thread too though I have your sapphire ring saved in my gallery because it just blew me away. I absolutely love your ruby adorned ring and earrings as well. The collection is amazing!

I hope that stupid cancer has moved on down the road and it's only in the rear view mirror now.

@prosecutrix -

What a gorgeous collection! Hoping your health journey has been progressing as you wish; I've been thinking of you and hoping life has settled and you're enjoying your beautiful baubles.
