Hi all!

I need some advice on what to put on my "psuedo-invites" for my Las Vegas wedding that''s coming up in two short months (EEEEEKKKK!!!!).

Instead of doing real invites I got these oversized LV postcards with a fun picture of the "Welcome to LV" sign and the Strip in the background. But now I don''t know what to put on them!

We''re having less than 20 guests and we know they are all coming (so no RSVP necc) and they''re all family and close friends, so everyone already knows the date/location. I mostly just want to send them SOMETHING that says, hey we''re glad you''re coming, and also has a link to our wedding website (which has the itinerary and all that jazz). But would it be weird to send an invite w/o including all that traditional invite info? What else could I put on there?

I''m completely stumped!! I really appreciate any thoughts/advice? Thanks!!!!

You''re the cutest.. :)
Anywho..I''d say the basics..

You
are marrying
Him
Date
Time
Place
Wedding Website

and then maybe a "Can''t wait to see you there!" type thing at the bottom.

I agree with MelissaSue- just put the basics, all of the people that are coming are close family/friends, so you can just point them to your website with all the info on it already...plus, it will save a lot of $$ when it comes to the invites, since you can leave all the detailed info for the website....

Thanks gals! I asked a couple of (not invited) friends about it too and they agreed... put the basics b/c that''s what people expect. Now if only FI could help with them... but he has the worst handwriting I''ve ever seen!

Are you putting the postcards in envelopes or mailing them as postcards?

If doing envelopes, I''d get some big labels...the size of your postcards, then print them all up and stick them on the back. You can still do that if you are mailing them as postcards, just leave room for the addresses...

how about something like this w/ your date:

EAT. DRINK.
BE
MARRIED.

or this quote from Fear and Loathing Las Vegas

or just some funny saying. franki-esque or elvisy? I think keeping it simple as the other''s mentioned is a great idea. Good luck!

Just a cautionary about the website: are there any guests who aren''t computer literate people? Like my grandma has no clue about the internet and so anything important that''s on the website I have write out for her.
