Pumpkins and Planning

So last night, SO and I reminisced on the 2 year anniversary of the day we met. Last year, he made a cd and scrapbook of songs that showed how much our love grew in the first 12 months of our relationship. Last night, we had a candle-lit dinner and carved pumpkins. He carved the cutest little penguin into the pumpkin (since he knows I like penguins).

It was a wonderful evening. I told him how I didn''t realize how overwhelming the past year was with searching his becoming a first time homeowner, heavy work commitments, and a nagging gf

He basically said that he has a timeline in mind and some dates that are of significance to us. He said he''s waiting because they will "mean more than some random day next week". I felt really bad because I realize that each time the topic''s brought up, he''s felt he''s had to defend himself or his reasoning for waiting and doesn''t want to give away any clues. So, I need to make it up to him somehow. In the meantime, we''ll enjoy our days together.

Sounds like a wonderful evening!!! FF and I always carve pumpkins every year and then take photos of them. This year we only have 1 pumpkin and so I guess we will have to carve it tonight. We usually carve pretty cool ones but the pumpkin we have this year is very perfectly round Im just thinking of doing a classic pumpkin carving (because we never do!) Plus we really don't have time this year either. I will have to ask him what he wants to do with it............

Yeah for pumpkins and penguins! I call my SO penguin as his pet name hehehe. I nag my SO sometimes too, I don''t set out to do it, but it happens none the less..I am sure that this is a symptom of LIW-itis...I must work on discovering a cure!
