So I have a question for you. I too am going to need sizing beads put in my e-ring. Turns out that it came in 1/4 size too big and I only realized it a couple months ago (stupid I know) My jeweler wants to put in the beads vs. sending it back to Tacori to put in the sizing beads. Does this sound like a bad idea?

I personally would let your jeweler do it. I have a sizing cushion in two of my rings, and the procedure is so simple that the jeweler told me they can put it in for the winter and take it out for the summer.

If it was anything complex I wouldn''t chance it, but this should be really very basic.

Just my 2 cents...

thanks Dee Jay. I probably will just because I don''t want to be without my ring for weeks but I know Tacori gets pissy about someone else working on their rings...I guess they would never know

By the way, just realized that you addressed this specifically to Punch N Pie. Sorry for jumping in there (but hope the info was helpful anyway)!

No, its okay. I just know she had Tacori put in her sizing beads so that is why I was addressing her (with the PMs gone and all) but I welcome any and all advice.

I don''t really have any advice for you, but I was going to say: recently I was in the jewelry store and saw your ring, and it was as beautiful in person as it always is on PS. This one actually had just diamonds and not the sapphires, and it looked pretty that way too, although I love how the sapphires on yours make the diamond stand out. Also I like a "long" stone in that setting, such as your EC (rather than a round).

Very beautiful!!

TER, what about the horseshoe sizer that jazmine has on her ring? It seems it would be more comfortable, and can swing in and out depending on how your finger feels on a certain day. I''m totally sold on those!!!

Hey Tacori!

I actually had my local jeweler put the sizing beads in. The turn around time was much quicker (2 days) versus having to ship it back to tacori. You know I never even thought about whether or not Tacori should do it, which you think i would have with all the trouble i had. The jeweler I went to was a Tacori dealer and they worked with their rings a lot so I felt comfortable having them do it. When I had them soldered though I sent them back to Tacori, and they never even said anything about the beads. ( i didnt decide to solder until after I had the beads put in).

I had them put in platinum beads although I dont know if that was necessary, but i wanted to keep all the metals the same. I had them put in small beads and that helped about 1/4 size, They are now tight in warmer weather and were ok to loose in the winter.

i dont feel them at all. i do wonder about that horseshoe thing though, and if my finger gets smaller with my continued weight loss and the rings are still big with the small beads, i may consider that.

Thank you. You are so sweet. I know the EXACT ring you are talking about. I never even saw the all diamond version until after I got my e-ring but I was only concentrating on sapphire and diamond settings. It was set with a CZ round so we took a chance getting an EC but I love it so much more than how it looked with a RB.

I thought about that. Maybe I will ask my jeweler what he thinks. My fingers do change sizes thoughout the day (so annoying!!!)

Oh I thought Tacori did it! Good that makes me feel SO much better. I know this is so stupid (but I have a feeling you will understand) I am kind of sad they will have to cover the Tacori mark (not that anyone has ever asked to see it or that I look at it...) Or maybe it won''t. Obviously my rings safety is more important and it almost slipped all the way off the other day
