Purple sapphire ring

My new purple sapphire ring is here. I’m excited so I just have to share.

I picked up this sapphire from Cecile Raley Designs not too long ago. It’s a 1.16ct purple sapphire (6.6 x 3.53mm) in a round Portuguese cut. Here are the vendor photos.




I already had the perfect setting (thank goodness because custom setting fees are killing me). I picked it up preloved on LT or DB (who knows anymore). I sent them out to David Klass to be set, resized and get new prongs.
It came back in the mail today, along with my new AVC moissanite ring (see here if interested). That’s right; two rings for me today. I’m so blessed.

Just got to live up to those PS standards. I know that when it's someone else, I get very impatient to see those hand shots. So, I just try to get some out there asap. Even though that meant standing outside freezing by buns off so I could get a couple good pics.

I actually bought this setting a year or two ago. It took a LONG time to find a gem that fit in it. They were usually too deep and I'd have to "send them back" (code for I usually end up keeping them anyway).
