Hi!
So I have posting a lot lately, as I am leaving for NYC in a few weeks and trying to get all my funds in order before i go.
Wanted to put out feelers for the stone that is currently in my engagement ring. It is a .90 Transitional stone, in a very rare SUPER white color of E and high VS2 clarity.
It came from an antique pendant and we took it to a well known jeweler in Irvine CA, who shaved off about one point to take off the "frost" on the girdle and help with light return. At the time, I never sent it to GIA because i had no intention of ever selling it, and all I cared about was how beautiful the stone was.
Long story short, I always wanted a cushion and tried to go the route of getting one for a "deal" ( i hated the color and eventually sold it) and am now beginning the long task of searching for my perfect upgrade. Husby says I do NOT get to keep this stone also, so I guess i will have to be listed =(
This stone is truly a fireball and I am NOT good at taking pics; I only have my bloody iphone camera so that doesn't help any. I have taken the stone to many *MANY* different jewelers and am confidant that the grading is accurate, could possibly be an F SI1 if GIA was super strict on it but nothing lower than that. Completely eye clean and shines brighter than the F color melee in my setting. I have an appraisal and Sarin report from Liberty Diamonds.

If someone is interested in the setting ( custom CAD + hand forged to get the prongs and detail on the halo i wanted) I would be open to discussing. Right now my plan is to make my setting a mothers ring at some point down the line.
Because my photos are awful, will absolutely offer a 3 days viewing period. I also have way more pics, again msg me through DB and I can email more.
