While I love my AVR (1.3, G, VS2) in Victor Canera setting, I find myself looking for a nice chubby emerald cut. I haven't worn my ring much since I also bought two sanguine hearts SS setting and have been wearing that daily.

Here's the link to my original post and a YouTube video made by VC http://loupetroop.com/listings/rings-natural-diamond-center/1-dot-38ct-gog-asscher-in-steven-kirsch-halo-setting..

If anyone is interested pls let me know and Iwill be glad to answer your questions and post additional pictures. I can create a listing on loupe troup or diamond bistro once I know there are serious buyers.

Thank you

How much are looking at getting for it? It's beautiful!

I found a couple of comparable stones on GOG:

I was hoping for 18K with my VC platinum setting. I had a VC spacer made in platinum which I can throw in to sweeten the deal. It fits the e-ring perfectly.

Pls let me know if you'd like to see additional pictures. The ones I posted were taken with my phone and not the best. The center stone is covered by GOG lifetime trade up or buy back policy but I didn't want to take it out of the VC setting since it's bezel set and it might destroy the setting. The AVR and the VC setting is beautiful as is and I've received many compliments on it but my heart is set in a square step cut stone and I can't afford both.

Here's a better close up of the ring. She is a beauty!

Bump!

badabling: you are likely not getting any response because you have not created a listing, and in fact, you are "bumping" something nonexistent! You may get a better response if you actually create the listing - I could be wrong, but at the price level you are anticipating, I would think that your prospective buyer may want more upfront, without contacting you directly to ask for it. KWIM? (This post Intended in a good way to help you :praise: ). Good luck!

Thank you for your advice minousbijoux! I have since talked to GOG and I'll hold on to it until I find something I love that I can trade up for which you can apparently do for an in house stone.

You will do far better trading up with GOG. You can always set a colored stone in your old setting if they can remove the stone without damaging the setting. Second hand settings do not recoup a lot of the original cost.

I agree you if you have no takers trade the AVR in on an EC from GOG and sell the setting on LT or DB. Be prepared to take a heavy loss on the setting. Or alternatively consign the whole thing to GOG.
