I received a request for a hi res copy from someone in the trade, and this question:
I was wondering what’s the difference between top and bottom image for light return?
A lot of thinking went into that chart, which is now a middle aged teenager!
The top are excellent symmetry but varying leakage.
The bottom is straight symmetry, but the bottom two on the left are also painted upper girdle facets.
Middle upper two showed hearts and arrows patterning, but some leakage, and the one marked H+Aalso has some painting - arguably they could be switched.
Two on the right are varying depths also - the top is really bad GIA XXX and the bottom right is a nail head with lousy symmetry - A diamond I have kept as a reference of rubbish cut.
