question for hudson hawk

I saw in SMTR you put a thread on your wedding bands, two thin eternity''s - I LOVE THEM!
I am seriously considering getting the same type to wear with my e-ring.
Currently my avatar is my wedding band but i just tried it on again (its held captive in the safe til our july wedding) and noticed its WIDER on my finger than ering and hurts my pinky and middle finger.
So -
My questions for you are:

1) how will you do two wedding bands at the ceremony? just have him put them on at once, like they are one ring?
2) what will you do with your ering during ceremony?
I was given a blue saphire ring to wear on my right hand ring finger for my ''"something blue'' so i have no where to put my ering/

I think thats it.

Oh did your FI think it was "odd" for you to get two wedding bands, mine kind of does and im trying to help him realize its "ok" and not a big deal.

Any advice would be great! TX

Sorry I was MIA this weekend. I was away at my shower/batch party, which BTW was amazing.

I''m going to have him put just one on for the ceremony and then I''ll add the other one after. I don''t want him to have to fumble with both rings.

2) what will you do with your ering during ceremony?
My ering will go on my right hand during th ceremony

Of course he did and his wallet cringed when I mentioned it to him. But both rings were within our budget for one ring and he preferred the look of the two to just on. He likes symmetry, which really works out well for me! Showing him how it looked both ways was key though. He really needed to see what it all looked like together, because it sounds really blingy and over the top when you describe it.

will the blue sapphire ring fit on another finger? Would you consider not wearing your ering for the ceremony? What about finding some way to pin the sapphire ring to your bouquet like a bouquet charm for the ceremony and then put it on your right hand after your ering is back on your left hand?

Great idea on the blue ring. No it does not fit on another finger, and I definitly want to be able to put my ering on right after the ceremony -
but you are right, i could pin the blue ring to my bouquet and then put it on right after the ceremony.
that would be easy enough - thanks!

Also, what is the ct weight of each of your rings? can you show me some pics again? please - are they shared prong eternity?

I can''t think of the specs off the top of my head. These were the only rings I''ve found that have fit well under the head of my ring, so I was more concerned with that. I''d say they''re maybe .25 ct.
