Hi NewEnglandLady (and anyone else who has information!)...
You responded to one of my posts and mentiond that you had a clam bake reception. I fell in love with this idea and so has my fiance. Our wedding will likely be a back yard wedding in a small northern california coastal town. We really want our wedding to be fun and simple, yet unique and intimate as it is a second marriage for both of us. I guess what we really want is for our kids, family, and friends to join us for a celebration more than anything.
Can you give me some information on how you planned your reception? I''ve found a couple of caterers that specialize in clam bakes, but they are all in the southern california area and would likely cost a way too much as they would have to travel 10+ hours. I realize you are on the opposite side of the country, but I thought maybe you could give me some general tips on planning a clam bake reception .
Thank you so much in advance for any information help you can provide!
