Hello. I am a long time lurker. My first post is a question for anyone who owns a Vatche Royal Crown setting.

My solitaire is set in a Vatche RC and I love it! We are thinking of upgrading my wedding band (which is currently a channel set band) to a shared prong band from Signed Pieces. My concern is that the new band might hurt the prongs of the RC. Is this a valid concern? Do any of you lovely ladies with Vatche RC have a shared prong band? Has it hurt your solitaire setting in anyway?

Thanks in advance for your input! And thanks to all of you who continue to share your beautiful rings!

Bump

I don''t own the RC but based on what others have posted normal eternity bands will hit the prongs of the royal crown setting. memoire and tiffany make a low set version that may sit low enough to not hit the prongs but I''m not 100% sure even they wouldn''t touch.

Thank you for your help. I will check into the Memoire and the Tiffany. Perhaps it isn''t meant to be and I won''t find one...but it sure is fun looking.

Thanks again!

I have a pave RC, but don''t have a wband yet!!! I am currently looking for a wband though. And was thinking of getting a shared prong ring. But of the few I tried on, they do sit flush, but I dont'' think they clank on the prongs. I think they fit *just* under the prongs. Is your ring Platinum or WG?

I think it should be fine, but again I don''t have any experience wearing one long term yet.

Hello April Diamonds,

Thanks for the reply. My RC is YG with platinum prongs.

I have an opportunity to go look at a few bands this afternoon. I hope that will answer some questions. However, I think I still want to order it from Signed Pieces so seeing other rings will not answer whether their rings will be to tall. My current wband is from SP and we were so impressed with it that I would like to give them the business again.

Good luck with your band shopping! And thanks for the reply!

Please post a few photos of whatever you decide on!!
