Question regarding Colombian Emerald ring setting

I've had this ring for a few years. I wish I had known then what I know now about caring for it... It's a 4 ct natural colombian emerald set in 18k white gold. I've been reading up on emeralds on this forum the last few weeks and have learned so much!

When I wore it, I always wore it on my left hand. Now that I have my engagement ring, I'll wear it on my right hand, so I'll need to get it sized a bit bigger.

So my QUESTION...what are your thoughts about adding some yellow gold (I love YG) around the emerald since I need to have it sized anyway? Or any other design thoughts you may have...Thanks in advance!

Gorgeous ring! Personally I would resize it for your left hand and leave it as is.

Sooooo Imma just kinda say it, its beautiful, it really is. But emeralds and high karat yellow gold are DROOOOOLWOOORTTTHHHHYYYYY

It looks beautiful as it is, I wouldn't change a thing, but then again, I love halos!!

It is personal preference; although I love emerald in high karat yellow gold, yours looks lovely as is.
