Alright, it is really time to be decisive here...the wedding is only 6 weeks away! I am wavering back and forth between this channel set eternity band from signed pieces, and a plain platinum comfort fit band. The one below is 2.3mm, .54ct. I will attach a pic of my ering next. Thoughts?? Please help!

And here is my ering.

I like the channel set for a little more sparkle... but does it fit flush with the setting? Also, if you want to just wear the band I feel that the other one might be too plain. Just my opinion though.

I''m getting an emerald cut also, and I have no idea what type of band I''m looking for. What are the specs of your emerald? It''s very pretty, and oh so classy!!

My vote is for the plain...too much going on with the channel set too.

I vote plain too! Good luck!

I can''t tell if those are round or princess stones in the channel setting. ?

Do you want to mix your stone shapes? I think channel set baguettes would be lovely with your gorgeous EC.

I agree with this. If you want more bling, the baguettes would look cleaner than the princess cut.

Thanks! If I remember correctly, the center stone is 1.36ct and the baguettes are .5cttw. I think it is E, VS1. Have you picked a setting for your emerald yet?

It is princess cut, so at least the shape is the same. I tried on a princess cut band, and it actually looked pretty good together. isnce the stones are so small, it just adds a little bit of sparkle, and the shape is not overwhelming.

The baguette bands also look pretty good, but I didn''t want to be too matchy matchy. And, all of the baguette bands I have found have just been too wide. The look too thick for my ering. But it is still an option if I can just find the right one :)

Yes, I picked out the setting and my BF wants to pick out the diamond so that it is still a surprise... which I love!!

How can I post a picture of it directly to the thread?

For those of you that voted baguettes, what about this one?? Is anyone photoshop savy??

ok... I''m tryin this...

I vote for plain or a band with horizontal bags. I think the setting is not the kind you can mix and match. Not only do I think it''s a classic look but pretty much a fixed look too assuring you might have to stay with a match matchy look. Does that make sense? I would look into horizontal bags because I would want more diamonds. LOL Then again, you can do plain now & get a RHR with princess stones later. See, you really dont lose out on this one.

YAYYY!!! I figured it out!!!

Just replace the center stone with an Emerald instead of the radiant shown in the pic...

Here is the band that goes with it, but I''m not a huge fan... it looks to wide, but I will have to find it in person to be sure. Any suggestions?

I liek this one... It''s very classy. When it comes down to the decision though, it''s all about your own personal taste!! After all, you''re the one that''s going to be wearing it!!

I know, and I am the most indecisive person alive!

You setting is gorgeous! I hope you get it soon!

Maybe you could get a wedding band to wear on your right hand. That setting is beautiful on its own!

ok... this is the best I could do without Photoshop on my home computer... hope it helps a little bit.

and the other one.... I think I like the baguettes!!

I would go for the plain band first, horizontal baguettes second.

i vote for horizontal bags. the look is tres elegant. your ring is beautiful!!

Here''s the plain band...

I vote the baguette band from Signed Pieces!

i change my mind - my first vote is a princess cut band by a long shot and then second bags.

Sorry, but after seeing them next to the ring it is going to have to come down to what your personal taste is. That setting seems to go pretty dang well with just about EVERYTHING!!! So I guess we''re back to square one again... haha

channel. That way if you ever wear the band alone you're still sparkley! And...I'd go with the baguettes...they are more classic and go perfectly with the ering (step cuts all the way!)

Another vote for the baguette band here!

Ditto.

I love the baguette band. It seems to go with the flow of your EC ring. I like the bling!

i wouldn''t want to mix a princess cut band with an emerald e-ring, those are totally different kinds of sparkle. the princess is more sparkle and bling while the emerald''s step cuts have a different kind of beauty. i would go with the baguettes, it would maintain the sleek icy look of the emerald...IMO

I love the baguette band. What about a baguette mixed with another shape?
