Hi Ladies,
While I have been lurking heaps, I haven't given an update for a while so thought i would chime in
SO and I bought a townhouse ready for completion in 2013 a few months back, we are very excited but i obviously know where i finances are at too. At first i was slighlty disappointed as it meant my dream of a NYE proposal was out of the question (we are staying in the city at a 5 star hotel to watch the fireworks and have a banquet dinner organised at a restaurant in the city, so needless to say in my head it was the perfect time for him to pop the question!). Especially since we knew we werent going on any major holidays due to saving for the house.
Thinking about it though i know the house is better for the long term and he will propose when he is ready and also can afford to. In saying that though part me is hoping he has some money in a savings account (he has always wanted to propose to me with the ring or at least the diamond) so i guess we will see but either way we have 2 weeks off work as of today once work finishes and I am just really excited to have a great NYE and be with him over the holidays
