Hi everyone,
Wow, it's been a minute since I posted in here!
If (like me) you've ever dreamed of owning an antique, certified unheated Kashmir sapphire (without spending hundreds of thousands of dollars)...now's your chance! My ring has just gone live with Jewels By Grace this week!!!!
Here's a bit about it (and my story)....
For so long I yearned to own a rare Kashmir sapphire piece, and a couple of years ago I was finally able to pay off a divine 3ct+ halo Kashmir sapphire ring I found from an antique jeweler in Europe. I was over the moon and every time I wore it I knew how lucky I was to have such a rare jewel.
What's so special about it? Well, there's the fact that they're scarce - because the mine closed down about 120 years ago - especially at this price point. Most are in the hundreds of thousands of dollars (or more). Finding an SSEF certified, unheated stone is even more so.
Secondly, there's the colour. Can we just talk about the vivid colour for a moment!?!? Some call it velvet, some call it peacock, and there are many other terms used, but call it what you will...it's an unmistakable shade unique to Kashmirs and it's simply divine, especially if you catch the right light - it can be blinding. I mean, just take a look at the photos!!!
My stone is what it is. It is not the richest, deepest of Kashmir blues, but it has uniform colour spread, unlike some you might be lucky enough to find around this price point.
Sadly, it's time for me to find her a new custodian as we need to do some work on our house (apparently things like replacing a leaky roof are more important than me having a Kashir sapphire ring....but I beg to differ!).
Anyway, she's a divine piece with a beautiful crisp, sparkling white halo and great finger spread and presence, so please take a look at Grace's listing!
Thanks for reading

3.42ct Antique Kashmir Sapphire Cluster Ring
This antique sapphire and diamond cluster ring is a Midcentury treat with an antique center stone - a dream if you ask us! That 3.42ct sapphire center is a beautiful, deeply blue color, Kashmir in origin and well over 150 years old. The SSEF has noted no indications of heating, and sitting in...
