Which would you choose? I am leaning towards the True Hearts, which is roughly $900 more than the other two. Funny the AGS ID/ID (non True Hearts) didn't seem to sparkle as much as the GIA Triple Ex or the True Hearts - maybe because of the clarity or clouds or possibly the low HCA Score? Please see pics and stats below and let me know what you think - I will be sending back two of them on Monday. Thanks! :) PS it was very hard to get good pics but all showed really nice arrows in the H&A scope.

#1 James Allen True Hearts 1.33 ct. H, VVS2 - HCA Score .8

#2 GIA, Triple Excellent, 1.31 ct. H, VVS2 (HCA Score 1.0)

#3 AGS ID/ID, 1.38 ct. G, SI1 (HCA .4)

Lastly, for a size comparison I placed the True Hearts in my old setting I had and placed it next to my 1.02 ct True Hearts (size 6.25 ring). To me there's a big difference in size! My 1 ct does need to be cleaned but still a big impact to for my aging eyes to see. Since it was loosely placed on top of the ring the angles aren't the best to show off the diamond but I thought I'd post for those wondering about size differences in these carat weights. :)

That’s exactly the size jump I want. 1.02-1.30. I want to hit that 7mm mark.

I have ACA studs that I love and Triple X ER that’s not even close to super ideal stats, but honestly I can’t see a difference between the stones. Only thing I notice is when my ER needs to be cleaned it looks dull oppose to my studs that always look bright...?

I would go with the stone you love. For a moment forget all the stats. And see which one you gravitate towards more.

That’s great advice. Thank you! Yes, honestly they really do look a lot alike and I keep changing my mind and gravitating to the biggest one, the SI1 clarity. I just need to check different lighting and see what sparkles most! lol

It's really hard for us to tell anything from pictures. I'd just be careful to look at color and see if you can detect any difference since GIA is a little stricter on color grading when stones are borderline.

Okay, thank you!

also look at them separately, but in all the same rooms. If you have beige walls or warmer lighting, it could make one stone “seem” warm, when really it’s the environment. So, look at them all in all the same lighting. Comparing them right next to each other, I always pick the biggest one, so that’s why I said to look at them separately, because then that one is the biggest one, kwim?

Yes, that makes sense. I’ll do that. Do you think the low HCA score (.4) is anything to worry about on the AGS SI1? It looks really good but I’ve read on the site too low a score can mean it’s better as a pendant.
