Red Beryl Cost

Hello All,

I’m looking to get input from the community on the current price of Red Beryl, as this is not a stone whose market I am familiar with. What is the going rate per carat for a stone with good color that has oil/resin? Also, how concerned should I be about inclusions? I know that red beryl typically is heavily included, but even with oil/resin this stone still shows some inclusions:

I’m not sure of the latest prices although I do know that JTV.com has some loose stones for sale and you can check them out. I would be very very worried if there are no inclusions. Be very careful of synthetics. Yes there is synthetic red beryl, and it’s clean. Most red beryl is included, like it’s sister stone, emerald. Also be careful of people trying to sell rhodonite or other look alike gems. A reputable lab report is recommended. Stones are also really small, anything over a carat goes up exponentially in price
