Red red burmese spinel

2ct red red burma spinel. No heat per AGL. eye clean and no window. Never seen a red spinel like this, like fire engine red. Well, the price tag is a clue...It makes my mahenge spinels greyish...

You are so bad . It definitely puts some of my hot pink mahenges to shame. Saturation wise. It's a lively stone and pictures really can't tell what I see though.

This stone is not from any vendor, it's bought 2nd hand from a collector. I had it certified by AGL before purchasing it.
Originally he sourced the stone back in 2005 together with the previous partner of gemcal who has since passed away from over thousands of carats burmese spinels...
