Reduce, reuse - recycle - the DK version

So, I sent a bezel set antique OMC diamond I got Alex Parks a few years ago and an diamond eternity band I did not wear much any more to David Klass for a rework in late October. I got the video from David today. Oh My!

I gave DK a outline idea of how I wanted to work the two rings together into a new cluster. Classic on top, but a little funky on the bottom. No one will be surprised to hear David Klass did a great job execution wise.

It is a 1.92 yellowish OMC, VS surrounded by 1.65 carats of modern rounds, each 3 mm. The bezel is 18KYG and the rest is platinum, in a tri wire. These are from David’s video. I think it looks dreamy - like a lemon sorbet. I will post hand shots as soon as she arrives next week.

He does but back the scrap settings, assuming it’s a metal he uses and/or can sell, I assume. He applies that credit to your invoice. Could not be more simple. It’s such a great feature of working with him.

The ring arrived from DK and woozier! The finger coverage is great. It’s 3.55 carats total and I feel as if it shows.

David’s work is always so consistent and top notch. The prongs on the halo are tight and there’s no catching.

I’m a huge fan of reworking pieces. You get the thrill of new sparklies at a fraction of the cost of buying new piece!
