1. Where did you register?

2. How many items did you register for?

3. What price range were most of your items?

4. What was the most expensive thing on your registry?

5. If you are married or have started receiving gifts, what is the most popular thing that people like to purchase?

We registered at both JCPenney and Amazon.com. I have about 25 items on the JC Penney list and about 85 on the Amazon list. We're expecting about 150 people to attend. The most expensive thing we have put on is a tv, which we're half kidding with. Most of our gifts are either in the $15-30 range or the $75-100 range.

Have to say-- I LOVE the amazon registry because you can put comments next to items to actually communicate to people why you have included things ("We currently only have 2 functioning pans...", etc.). And they get sent in the mail, so you get the fun of getting a package (I'm still a little 5 year old girl in that respect) AND getting a gift! And they have an online "thank you" list that helps you keep track of purchases. Also, most of my family would have to drive 1.5 hours to get to a JC Penneys, so this way they won't have to plan any road trips just to get me something on my registry.

We registered at Crate and Barrell and Macy''s. I''m not sure exactly how much we registered for at each place but we put more on our C & B registry than the one at Macy''s.

So far we''ve gotten one thing from our registry at C & B -- a floor lamp (and nothing from Macy''s yet, although it''s early).

The most expensive thing we registered for was probably the Dyson Slim. We tried to register for a variety of things at different price levels at each store. We put dish towels on there, as well as a griddle, pots and pans, barware, flatware, sheets, towels, a comforter, table lamps, kitchen gadgets, bakeware, decorative candle holders, and some other stuff.

When we were scanning things in, we chose things we could use now as well as things that we''d want to have in the next place we live (a house, probably in the next 3 -5 years).

1. Where did you register?

Macys & Bed Bath & Beyond

2. How many items did you register for?

200ish

3. What price range were most of your items?

Most are under $50 but some are in a higher price range...

4. What was the most expensive thing on your registry?

Kitchenaid Mixer and Analon Pot Set, both $300

5. If you are married or have started receiving gifts, what is the most popular thing that people like to purchase?

We got a mix of everything....dishes, luggage, electrics, crystal....

1. Where did you register?

Alessi, Bloomingdale's, and B,B,&B.

2. How many items did you register for?

No idea... probably around 200 if you count sets?

3. What price range were most of your items?

$10 (bakeware) - $750 (a crazy lamp... as IF!).... I think most of our items hover around $100, which I'd guess is around what our average guest would spend. Especially with the weak $US. For our (mostly international) guests, it's like everything is on sale! But we've got plenty of $50 and under things on there too.

4. What was the most expensive thing on your registry?

Said crazy $750 lamp.
