I''m sure many will remember my lovely new Pakastani peridot.

I now have a setting. I could have waited until next year but well..you know...

The setting is an upgraded LOGR. The diamonds are VERY small but clean as a whistle. As this is a big stone, I felt I didn''t want big diamonds and its the reason I chose the setting in the first place. I still wanted a halo though. They did take the ring in a tad to that it would fit snug around the stone.

Instinct said to go with 2 tone. I have to admit I''m glad I listened.

Not too many hand shots as its that time of the month and looking like the Mrs. Michellin Man(I can''t even get it on my middle finger

Just the setting.

The dreaded hand shot. This was taken with an incandescent lamp. I didn''t quite get a good shot as it was quite the balancing act since I didn''t want the stone to fall out.

Another full sun shot with a bit of fire.

Beautiful. The stone and setting look perfect together.

That is (yet another!) stunner!

The shape of the halo looks great with the shape of the stone....beautiful!

Thanks AmberGretchen, oddoneout, IrisAccents

This ring is amazingly heavy

I've always been afraid to go big because I knew I would like it too freaking much! I'm going to see if I can wrangle to get it set before NYE

If not then a little after isn't a big deal.

I don't see me wearing it every day but its a still would be something nice to thow on when I want to go big and crazy.

What a beautiful combo (lovely peridot+lovely setting). Such a head-turner ring. I love it!

Arcadian,
Very nice!!

I have that same setting in 14K yellow gold for my mint beryl. I didn''t upgrade the diamonds though.

It looks perfect in that setting!

OH WOW!!!! that has to be one of my favorite rings now...i just adore the two tone...i''m also glad you listed to your instincts.

Gorgeous!

Thanks blithesome71, it really is one heck of a head turner. Once the swelling goes back down the finger coverage will be pretty insane!

Thanks TL. On this auction there wasn''t a specification of the diamond type, and when I asked what they were there was no specification in their response. I will say that after upgrading, I can now see the difference between some of my other setting''s diamonds and this one. If I ever get around to resetting my sapphire and I use them I will for sure choose their upgraded diamonds. I think it makes sense to upgrade for certain special stones. Some of their settings, like the one for my spinel is amazing right off the bat.

Thanks packrat

Oh my! It''s just perfect. If anything, I love the stark coolness of the white against the rich green of the peridot. No one will ever guess it''s a peridot with that colour!

Wow, that is going to be gorgeous together.
